Running the MEH100 on Your Electricity Supply

With a 2000W element, the MEH100 uses about 2 units (kWh) for every hour the element is switched on. Many families heat the tank before morning use and again in the evening instead of leaving it on all day. The element can only heat while electricity is available, so plan around load-shedding hours. On backup power, a 2000W load is significant for a home UPS or solar inverter, so check its rated output first.
